Family & Consumer Sciences
The Foundation also supports continuing education through scholarships for Macon County 4-H members.
If you are planning a project or initiative that strengthens these programs, we encourage you to submit a funding request.
Eligible Requests
Funding may be requested for projects, programs, or efforts being conducted through Macon County Extension programming.
Board Presentation
A representative from the requesting organization, club, or program may:

Attend a Foundation Board meeting to present the request and answer questions
OR -
Submit the completed request form through the Macon County Unit Director for Board review.
Unit Director Approval
All requests must include the signature of the Macon County Unit Director to confirm awareness and support of the request.
Funding Limits

Minimum request: $200
-
Maximum annual request: $2,000
If your project requires more than $2,000, please contact the Foundation to discuss options before submitting your request.
Reporting Requirements
As part of our commitment to responsible stewardship and community impact, all funded programs must provide a follow-up report after funds are used.
Reports may be:

Submitted in writing
OR -
Presented in person at a Foundation Board meeting
Reports should summarize:

Program or event outcomes

Number of participants served

Overall impact
This helps us celebrate success and continue strengthening programs across Macon County.
